Leung Pui Yi graduated from the Department of Fine Arts at The Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2020, specializing in Chinese Gongbi (fine-brush) and Mineral Pigment painting. Her artistic practice explores the reflective relationship between art and the self, taking inspiration from subtle observations of daily life and natural organisms to capture the delicate features and evolving dynamics of her subjects.

Her works have been featured in various gallery exhibitions and acquired by private collectors. Beyond her studio practice, she is dedicated to promoting traditional art in contemporary contexts: in 2021, she founded Gongbi Artchive (@gongbiartchive) to teach and pass on the tradition of Gongbi painting; in recent years, she has actively driven the development of mineral pigment painting in Hong Kong, curating workshops for cultural institutions and community projects to introduce this rich, contemporary traditional medium to a broader audience.
